A brand-new Essential Services Laboratory (ESL) at Whittington Hospital went live on 29 September. This pristine laboratory space boasts the most up-to-date modern equipment and premises that are designed to support the hospital for today and well into the future.

Our Quality Management group was proud to be invited by UKAS to celebrate the achievement of UKAS accreditation, a milestone that reflects our commitment to excellence, patient safety and continuous improvement. 

Sophie joined Sonic Healthcare UK in March this year as Group Head of Primary and Community Services. Her arrival was particularly timely, given it was just days before the service was due to commence with our new partners at Herts and West Essex.

Amy recently took up the role as Head of Department at the Sample Reception Area (SRA) in the Halo Building, but has been a longstanding member of the organisation.

After a year of detailed preparation and planning, Sonic Healthcare UK’s Research and Innovation Symposium took place in November 2024 at the Wellcome Collection.
