How do I apply?

Can I apply via UCAS?

No, you do not apply via UCAS. 

What does the application process entail?

Once applications have been received, there is a first stage shortlisting process based on applications and grades. If you have been successful at the first stage, you will proceed onto the second stage which is interviews with Sonic Healthcare UK. We will be assessing your motivation to the degree, any relevant work experience and your interpersonal skills. If you are given the great opportunity to become an apprentice with Sonic Healthcare UK, recruitment and onboarding commences. 

What if I’ve already applied to other universities?

You can still apply for the degree apprenticeship, please submit your application via our careers page. If successful, enrolment and onboarding will commence. 

How much will I earn as an apprentice?

You will receive the base pay with appropriate regional uplifts up to 20%.

What is the IBMS Registration portfolio, it keeps coming up in the information?

The IBMS Registration Training Portfolio is a training programme which involves collation of a portfolio of evidence demonstrating you have achieved each HCPC standard of proficiency. This is a required activity to achieve HCPC registration.
